Our Values in Action
At Emerald Necklace Martial Arts, we strongly encourage all martial artists to make worthy contributions to their neighborhoods and communities. In fact, the students in our programs frequently organize and participate in community service activities as part of their Black Belt training.
Throughout the years, we'll continue to demonstrate our commitment to community by participating in a variety of events, including fundraisers for charitable institutions, neighborhood clean-ups, food drives, and other activities. Be sure to check back here often for the latest good news from our dojo members!
This Project Portfolio was inspired by Mr. Tom Callos, creator of the Ultimate Black Belt Test and founder of the New Way Network, a new martial arts organization that seeks to redefine “self-defense” to include peace education, environmentalism, sustainability, and community activism.
